Change in ideology

Everyone has the time and luxory to change his ideology regarding his life, at least once upon his time. For myself, I am only 26 but had the pleasure to *dramatically* change my own views in 3 major times.

What I mean when talking about ideology is more than just the way one is politically bounded. It is more of a global internal culture of thoughts, feelings and criticism which enables us to take positions in politics, work, love and attitude. Sometimes, it takes a person years and years to build his ideology, but in the end it is not that sad to change it all at once. As a matter of fact, the normal evolution is that it happens to get the person into a more restful "peace of mind" area.

Sometimes, changing one's point of view about individual subjects may well change his ideology as whole. For example, a friend had his own view about marriage. At the beginning, he thought it was so important. I could describe him at that time as a liberal activist. During that, and After years of searching for his right significant other part, he finally found the one and loved her much. Apparently then, he had problems when he had to face up with real-time materials like her relatives, financial burden and cultural backgrounds.. etc.

A while after, my friend called me for a long session of talk and decided that he had the first major change. He abandoned his girl and went out as a communist suporter. He was'nt sad at all. Then, it was years before I hear from him again. Last time I spoke to him, I found out that he is married, and might have kids soon. Eventually, I asked him about his current political title, and he answered, "My wife is right-winged"!
