Project: YANC

My conclusion is, nobody can actually meet the deadline. They are bull, deadline stories are. A deadline that is not based on facts on the ground is terrible. But again, no deadline can actually be based on facts; there are no facts, software is all about delusion. Forget about usability, users should learn how to use it; at least until it blows off their faces. Don't mention maintainability, when it's broke, it's dead broke. Security is out of context, they've got all the ones and zeroes, dude.

In general, technology is abstracted most of the time to look like helpful. They say, tech eases the pain of life. To some extent that's true, it eases pain of life leading to sudden deathes.

In search for the lost deadlines, I found out about the oppositte, I found out about FUN!! To get closer to the idea, replace all the hard work with dance, all the software CDs with music CDs, all the working hours with nights, all the ugly rigorous clients with beautiful liberal minds, all the programming IDEs with disco floors, all the lines of code with stage lightening bars.

It's time to say it out loud, I will and am truly willing to miss my very next deadline. Nothing new really.
